Course Structure
- Mondays to Fridays
- Mornings: lessons from 9:00
- You can choose 2 or 3 hours depending on your needs and preferences.
- Afternoons and evenings: free time.
You may wish to use some of this time for private study and preparation.
More intensive courses which include morning and afternoon sessions can also be provided by special arrangement.
Homework assignments will be set depending on your needs and particular preferences.
We feel it is very important for effective learning that the lessons are relaxed, enjoyable and free from stress. Students have very different learning styles and goals and for this reason we adapt our classes to your preferences and aims.
During your free time,you may also want to explore the many places of interest in and around Colchester and of course practise your English in real life situations.
This free time is essentially an independent space, but we would be very happy to help you organize outings and provide information on local facilities.We would like to support you throughout your stay and help you engage fully in English life and culture both in our home and in the wider community.
- Weekends: There are no lessons at weekends and you may take this opportunity to make longer excursions or relax.
